Called a few companies about my sinking porch and Rapid was the only one that actually showed up when they said they would. Did a great job and the price was reasonable. Would use again.

We had a section of our driveway that had dropped a good two inches. Rapid came out, assessed it, and had it leveled in about an hour. Looks like it was never a problem. Very satisfied.

One half of our garage floor had dipped by roughly two inches. In a matter of hours, these guys leveled it out. You wouldn't be able to tell it was unequal. Excellent work.

The concrete around our pool deck was sinking and cracking. They lifted it back to level and it looks perfect. Way cheaper than replacing the whole thing.

Called Rapid Concrete Leveling about my uneven driveway and they came out the next day. Quick job, looks great, and the price was fair. Really happy with the result.

Signs Your Pool Deck Has Settled

If your deck has dropped, cracked, or pulled away from the coping, it's time to lift it before it gets worse.

Visible gap between sunken pool deck slab and pool coping

Gap Under the Pool Coping

The deck used to be flush with the coping. Now there's a gap you can fit a finger in. Water runs into that opening every time it rains, and the slab keeps dropping.

Trip hazard lip between two pool deck slabs near a ladder

Trip Hazard Around the Pool

One slab dropped lower than the next, and now there's a lip near the steps or the ladder. Kids and guests are catching their toes on it.

Rainwater pooling at the edge of a tilted pool deck

Pool Deck Tilting Toward the Water

Rain used to run away from the pool. Now it pools at the edge or drains straight into the water. The deck has tilted and the slope has reversed.

Hairline cracks across a sunken pool deck slab

Cracks and Hollow-Sounding Pool Deck

Hairline cracks are spreading, and the deck sounds hollow when you tap on it. There's a void under the slab, and the concrete is following the dirt down.

Pool Deck Repair Without Tearing It Out

Polyurethane foam injection lifting a sunken pool deck back to level

Pool deck leveling lifts your sunken concrete back to where it belongs. We drill a few small holes, pump material under the slab, and the deck comes back up to level. The whole job takes a few hours. You walk on it the same day. No demolition. No new pour. No weeks of plywood and dust in the backyard.

Foam Injection

Foam is what we use around pools. It's waterproof, lightweight, and cures in about 15 minutes. Splash, rain, and sprinklers don't wash it out. The lift lasts 20 years or longer.

Mud Injection

Mud is the cheaper option. It works fine on a back patio that doesn't get soaked. Around a pool, water gets to it and it can wash out faster. We'll tell you straight when foam is the better call.

Joint and Crack Sealing

After the lift, we seal the control joints and fill any cracks so water can't get back under the slab. That keeps the dirt where it belongs and the deck right where we put it. Wider cracks call for concrete crack repair after the lift.

Our Process

How We Lift a Sunken Pool Deck

How pool deck leveling works diagram
1

Free Pool Deck Assessment

We come out, measure how far the slab has dropped, and look for the cause — a leak, bad drainage, washed-out dirt. You get a written price before we leave.

2

Drill Small Access Holes

We drill holes about the size of a dime through the slab. They go where the deck dropped, placed away from your pool plumbing and tile.

3

Inject and Lift the Slab

We pump foam under the deck. It expands, fills the void, and lifts the concrete back to level. We work in stages so the slab doesn't crack and the coping doesn't pinch.

4

Patch and Use the Same Day

We patch the holes with color-matched concrete and clean up. Most pool decks are walkable within an hour of the last lift, and the job's done in a few hours.

Why Homeowners Choose Rapid Concrete Leveling

Technician injecting foam under a residential pool deck

We're not going to oversell you. Your deck dropped because the dirt under it gave way — usually loose backfill from when the pool was put in. We pump foam or mud underneath, lift the slab back to level, and that's the fix. If we can do it, we'll tell you. If we can't, we'll tell you that too.

We give you a price before we start, and that's the price you pay. No "we found something else" upcharges after the work begins. If anything changes, you see it before we touch it.

Most pool decks are lifted in a few hours. You don't lose the pool for a weekend. You don't tear out a deck and pour new concrete. You don't pay for replacement when lifting works just fine.

Pool Deck Leveling Questions Homeowners Ask Us

It depends on how much area dropped, how far it dropped, and which method makes sense for your deck. A single trip-hazard slab is on the lower end. A full perimeter lift on a kidney pool is on the higher end. We give you a fixed price before we start, so you know what it costs before any holes get drilled.

No. We map the plumbing lines before we drill, place the holes carefully, and lift the slabs in the right order so the coping doesn't pinch. The pool itself, the tile, and the plumbing don't get touched.

Most pool decks are lifted in 3 to 6 hours. Foam cures in about 15 minutes after we inject it, so you can walk on the deck the same day. You don't lose the pool for a weekend.

Around a pool, foam is the better call. It's waterproof, lightweight, and stays put when the deck gets soaked. Mud is cheaper, but around water it can erode faster. We'll lay out both options on the assessment and tell you which one fits your deck.

A foam lift lasts 20 years or longer. It stays where we put it as long as the cause — bad drainage, a plumbing leak, soil that keeps washing out — gets handled. If we spot a leak we can't fix on day one, we'll tell you to bring in a pool plumber first so the lift doesn't drop again.
